Welcome to my website. I hope that you will find this site helpful. I have had the honor and pleasure of taking care of patients for the past 14 years.

Some personal information about my family and me

I have 3 children; Adam (18), Alex (16), and Alyssa (11). When I am not working I can usually be found at one of their many activities. I have been married to Michele (Beauchamp) Volker for 20 years and we have lived in Las Vegas for the past 12 years.

As a family, we are very much outdoors-type people. Our family activities are based around the time of year. In the summer months we are usually playing tennis, swimming or on our boat. In the winter months, we are most likely in Southern Utah skiing.

Overview
Dr. K. Warren Volker is the President of Volker Medical Research, Inc. (VMR), a consulting and research company he founded in 2001. Under the umbrella of VMR, he established Volker Consulting International, Inc. (VCI), a firm that offers both business and medical consulting services to domestic and international companies that work in the healthcare industry. His overall goal and focus, is to work with healthcare related companies, medical practices, biotech companies, hospital systems, and physicians to improve the delivery of medicine to patients while improving doctor's lives.

Business Summary
Dr. Volker is the founder and Chairman of the Board of Premier Physician's Insurance Company, Inc.and the American Institute of Minimally Invasive Surgery He is the Medical Director & Chairman of First National Bank of Arizona's National Medical Advisory Board for the Physician's First program. He is the Managing Partner of Women's Specialty Care, LLLP (WSC) located in Las Vegas. WSC, a practice founded by Dr. Volker, is the largest privately held women's health organization in Nevada.

Clinical Summary
Dr. Volker has attained international visibility and respect as a pioneering Minimally-Invasive Surgeon and performs Advanced Pelvic Surgery in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is only one of a small number of board certified OB/GYN's in the United States who also specializes in biochemistry and molecular biology.

Medical Teaching & Research Summary
Dr. Volker maintains a national educational surgical private practice in Las Vegas, Nevada. In a collaborative relationship with Ethicon Endo-Surgery, Inc. (a Johnson & Johnson Company), he is the Fellowship Director of The Minimally-Invasive Surgery Program located at Southern Hills Hospital and trains gynecological and pelvic reconstructive surgery. Dr. Volker is also trained on the da Vinci Robot Surgical System- one of only a handful of doctors accredited with this training in Southern Nevada. He is also an assistant clinical professor in the department of family/community medicine at the University of Nevada School of Medicine. He is the Chief of Staff, at Centennial Hills Hospital & Medical Center.

Dr. Volker has published numerous articles. When he is not providing consulting services, Dr. Volker remains busy giving lectures around the country on numerous women's health issues at such top medical centers as UC-Davis, Arnold Palmer Women's and Children's (Orlando Regional Medical Center), and UCLA.

Academic Background
Dr. Volker holds a degree in finance management. He holds many advanced certifications in advanced surgical techniques and is a minimally invasive reconstructive pelvic surgeon. He is a diplomat of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and completed his residency training at the University of Nevada School of Medicine. He holds both a M.D. and Ph.D., graduating with honors from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine & Health Sciences. He published most of his work and his dissertation research looked at the function of protein tyrosine genetic activation mechanisms related in breast cancer development. He is the recipient of the prestigious National Leadership Award in Medicine and Business.
