Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding in Women – (STOP-DUB) Surgical Treament Outcomes Project. STOP-DUB is a national randomized control trial being conducted for the next 4 years. This Surgical treatment Outcomes Project is federally funded through (AHCPR) Agency of Health Care Policy and Research.

2001-2002- Identifiying and Recording Birth Defects in Nevada. Collaborative effort with Neonatology, Pediatrics, Genetics, and the State of Nevada. March of Dimes $8,900.00.
1999-2001- Treatment of HIV Infected Women and Children, Decreasing the Risk of Maternal-Child transmission by a Multi-disiplinary Approach. Title I, III, and IV Ryan White Foundation. Total of grants $575,000.00.
Comparison of Flexible Hysteroscopy Directed Biopsy, Saline Infusion Sonohysteroscopy and Endometrial Biopsy for Detection of Uterine Pathology. Funding provided through Olympus Instruments, Inc. in the form instrumentation to us at no cost. This study also has a formal training program incorporated tlo teach 3rd and 4th year resident physicians new operative and diagnostic techniques.
Development of a Screening Program and Treatment Strategies for women and adolescents in von Willebrands Disease – A collaborative study with Dept. of Hematology/Oncology and Dept. of Ob/Gyn, University of Nevada School of Medicine. This project will be an on-going project and has endorsement from the Hemophilia Foundation of Southern Nevada.
